Seneca Resorts & Casinos in Niagara Falls is seeking a Beverage Entertainment Bartender to create a fun, engaging atmosphere and deliver memorable service to our guests. You will pour drinks, craft cocktails, and interact with guests while upholding company policies, cash handling standards, and a polished appearance.

This role involves a 24-hour casino schedule with diverse shifts, competitive tips, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years beverage/bartending experience required.
Strong knowledge in craft cocktails, craft beers, wine, single malt scotch, cognac, port and sherry, distillation processes, flaming drinks and food service.
Must possess a high profile appearance suitable for a setting to include enhanced dress, grooming and styling.
Previous customer service experience required.
Cash handling experience required (Infogenesis or Micros).

Responsibilities

Create a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment for all guests with a high level of customer service.
Adhere to all established company and departmental procedures, guidelines, and policies including guest service, cash handling, sanitation and organization.
Address guests with a pleasant nature at all times.
Have knowledge of the casino and events and answer questions when asked.
Shift assignments may include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Punch in/out and maintain proper timekeeping and uniform standards.
Maintain established company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards.
Assist in other projects as directed.
Maintain awareness of information security policies and procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service and communicate in a friendly, professional manner.

The Beverage Entertainment Bartender is responsible for ensuring that our casino guests are provided with an unparalleled service and a memorable experience. The individual will maintain superior interpersonal skills in order to deal effectively with all types of guests in an entertainment environment. The individual will interact with and entertain guests who approach the bar while preparing and pouring drinks for customers and beverage servers. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Create and ensure a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment for all guests ensuring a high level of customer service.
2. Adhere to all established company and departmental procedures, guidelines, and polices at all times, including to but not limited to guest service, cash handling, sanitation and organization.
3. Required to address guests with a pleasant nature at all times.
4. Required to have knowledge of the casino and events and answer questions when asked.
5. Scheduled shifts may fluctuate based on business demands of a 24-hour casino schedule. Shift assignments may be irregular and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays.
6. Report to work on time. Punch time clock at beginning and end of shift, and sign in and out as required per departmental standards
7. Maintain established company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times.
8. Assist in other projects, as directed.
9. Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
10. Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff.
11. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
12. Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
13. Attend all necessary meetings.
14. Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.

Education/Experience:

1. Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
2. High school diploma or its equivalency required.
3. Minimum five (5) years beverage/bartending experience required.
4. Strong knowledge in craft cocktails, craft beers, wine, single malt scotch, cognac, port and sherry, distillation processes, flaming drinks and food service.
5. Must possess a high profile appearance suitable for a setting to include enhanced dress, grooming and styling.
6. Previous customer service experience required.
7. Cash handling, Infogenesis or Micros experience required.
8. Ability to operate the following equipment: juice guns, cutting boards, soda guns, ice machines, shot glasses, mixers, pourers, knives, coffee machines, non-alcoholic frozen drink machines, ice tea machines and other necessary equipment.
9. Nightclub experience or similar experience in an entertainment environment is preferred.

Salary Starting Rate: $10.70 plus tips
Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
