General Purpose
The Bartender is responsible for providing timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests. Each Bartender's primary objective is to show our guests such a marvelous time, they will want to return.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Assist in planning bar menus, create recipes of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant's goals or based on customers'
- Stock, arrange and maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation, promotion of beverages, and attractive displays.
- Present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverages.
- Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of
- Attempt to limit problems and liability related to guests' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading guests to stop drinking, and/or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated
- Record drink orders accurately, accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change if
- Balance cash
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for
- Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are
- Performs cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, tidying up server station, taking out trash, or checking and cleaning bathrooms.

Education or Formal Training
- High school diploma or General equivalency diploma (GED)
- Alcohol Seller/Server Certification (bartender license)
Experience
- At least one (1) or more year as a bartender is required.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the customer service industry (in addition to bartending experience) is required.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year to year
basis.
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications
Must be old enough to serve alcohol legally in the State of Wyoming.
Working Environment
The work environment can be loud and busy. There are many kitchen/bar hazards such as hot surfaces and liquids, sharp knives, and slippery floors. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work. No travel is expected for this position.
Physical Activities
The employee is required to stand for long periods as well as walk, bend and stoop. The position requires working taste buds, ability to smell, feel with fingers and visually Inspect, Including close and distance vision. The position requires ability to use arms, hands and manipulate fingers to reach, stir, measure, pour, cut, chop, dice, decorate, and similar. Must be able to lift 55 pounds on a regular basis.

Must have previous bartending experience.
