Delaney Oyster House in Charleston, SC is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable full-time Bartender to join our hospitality-driven team. The role requires strong beverage knowledge and a warm, guest-focused approach.

You will craft cocktails, manage bar operations, and collaborate with FOH and kitchen teams to ensure a seamless experience for guests while maintaining brand standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending in a high-volume, upscale setting.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and house cocktails.
• Excellent communication and hospitality skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, engaging hospitality to bar guests.
• Craft classic and signature cocktails with consistency and speed.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the beverage program and offerings.
• Engage guests with recommendations and menu insights.
• Prepare garnishes, syrups and bar components per recipes and prep standards.
• Manage bar inventory and restock supplies during service.
• Keep the bar clean, organized and well-stocked at all times.
• Ensure responsible service in accordance with laws and company policies.
• Collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen teams for smooth service.
• Process payments and manage tabs via POS system.
• Uphold safety, sanitation and cleanliness protocols.
• Represent the brand with professionalism at all times.

Who We're Looking For:

We're looking for a talented Bartender who brings both technical skill and warm hospitality to the bar.

Responsibilities:

• Provide warm, engaging, and knowledgeable hospitality to all bar guests
• Craft classic and signature cocktails with consistency, speed, and precision
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the beverage program, including spirits, wine, beer, and house cocktails
• Engage guests with confidence—offering recommendations and sharing insights into the menu
• Prepare garnishes, syrups, and other bar components in accordance with recipes and prep standards
• Manage bar inventory and restock supplies throughout service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar at all times
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service in accordance with laws and company policies
• Collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth and timely service
• Handle payments accurately and manage tabs using the POS system
• Uphold all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols
• Represent the brand with professionalism and pride at all times

What You'll Bring:

• 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale setting
• Strong spirits, wine, and cocktail knowledge
• Confident, engaging, and thrives in a guest-focused environment
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain a polished presence
• A collaborative teammate with a passion for creating memorable experiences
