Job summary

Upstream Hospitality Group is an ever-growing hospitality group that fosters creativity, progression, and originality. We’re currently looking for experienced bartenders to join our front‑of‑house team at The Tap Room.

Who You Are

As a Tap Room Bartender, you help set the tone for the guest experience and contribute to a fun, positive team atmosphere.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve beverages efficiently and with attention to detail.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service to every guest at the bar and in the dining room.
• Ask for ID anytime serving alcohol to guests.
• Maintain full knowledge of our food, beverage, and beer menus, along with current specials and promotions.
• Ensure prompt service for bar guests and dining bar service.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar.
• Use proper pours and glassware.
• Adhere to state, federal, and company liquor regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Promote our restaurant and assist team members.
• Complete opening and closing tasks pertinent to the bartending position, and run side work.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

What We’ll Need From You

• At least 6 months of experience in a similar role.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build positive relationships.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Valid TIPS Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• A genuine love for hospitality and a leadership mindset.
