Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a skilled bartender to craft beverages, greet guests, and contribute to a welcoming bar atmosphere. You will handle orders, operate the POS, and maintain clean workspaces.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience, be 21+, and possess a valid alcohol server certification. This role requires excellent communication and a friendly, professional demeanor.

POSITION SUMMARY

The bartender is responsible for making, mixing, pouring and/or creating alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages for the guests of the bar and restaurant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions to guests as necessary
• Take guest drink (and sometimes food) orders from guests seated at the bar or from servers
• Input orders into the POS system
• Prepare guests drinks as ordered
• Slice fruit for garnishing drinks
• Clean bar and arrange glasses for an attractive bar display
• Prepare bill and accept payment or refer guest to the appropriate cashier
• Clear or reset bar after each guest leaves
• Thank guests and kindly invite them back for a future drinking/dining experience
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 1 year experience

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS

• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours per day
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
• Will frequently reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, fine manipulation throughout the shift.
• Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors
• Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from restaurant machinery, music, and customers
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, and seafood

UNIFORM

• Employees are expected to present themselves in a neat, clean, professional manner. This includes wearing a clean uniform, good personal hygiene, clean well-trimmed nails, and no gum chewing while on duty.
