Job summary

Lycoming Engines in Williamsport, PA is seeking a Barrel Cell Computer/Electronic Machine Operator for a full-time role in manufacturing. You will perform operations in a continuous flow cell, run machines, test equipment, and assist in fixture/program readouts as needed to ensure part quality.

The position requires basic adjustments expertise, adherence to safety, and capability to work unsupervised. Prior machine operation experience or related training is valued, with documentation maintained

Qualifications

• High School Diploma of GED
• Previously help a position demonstrating the ability to perform basic adjustments and operate manufacturing machinery; or satisfactory completed company provided of outside training demonstrating some machine skills; or knowledge equivalent to that required in the Machine Operator classification.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned work in a safely conscious manner.
• Perform assigned work to specify quality and production standards.
• Maintain equipment and tools used by the individual in a clean condition.
• Perform assigned cleaning required to maintain individual’s immediate work area in a clean condition.
• Prepare and/or maintain all documentation necessary to the duties of the job classification.
• Perform other duties inherently required of the job classification.
• Perform basic adjustments and operate machining centers and related equipment to produce product within specified Company processes and procedures.
• To communicate on a timely basis to all relevant personnel any issues found during the daily processing of product and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Record keeping as required.
• Work with others across payrolls, functions, and shifts to solve problems in a timely manner.
• Capable to work unsupervised in their area.

Education
