Job summary

Park Ridge Park District is seeking enthusiastic Barre Fitness Instructors to motivate our members through class formats such as Ballet Barre, Barre Strength, Cardio Barre and other Barre specialty formats. The position offers diverse opportunities for energetic fitness professionals who excel at planning and delivering engaging group classes.

Responsibilities include leading morning, evening and weekend sessions at Centennial Fitness Center in Park Ridge, with benefits valued up to $6,000.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as a fitness instructor or equivalent
• Certification through ACE, NASM, AFAA, or equivalent in Barre instruction preferred
• CPR Certified or ability to obtain certification within ninety days of hire

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead Barre group classes (Barre, Barre Strength, Cardio Barre)
• Plan and deliver fun and effective group class experiences
• Engage members to ensure a positive class environment

Salary Range: $40.00 - $50.00 Hourly

Hourly Description: Centennial Fitness Center is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Barre Fitness Instructors to motivate our members through class formats including Ballet Barre, Barre Strength, Cardio Barre, and other Barre specialty formats. Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 months experience as a fitness instructor or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
• Certification through ACE, NASM, AFAA, or equivalent certification in Barre instruction preferred.
• CPR Certified or ability to obtain certification (through the district) within ninety days of hire.

Availability

Barre group fitness opportunities include morning, evening and weekend opportunities.
