Job summary

Pure Barre Austin-Westlake/Arboretum is seeking a friendly and motivated Fitness Instructor to guide clients through energizing barre classes and cultivate an exceptional studio experience.

The role is part-time, with a minimum of four classes per week, including mornings, middays, evenings, and weekends. You’ll connect with members, lead safe, engaging workouts, and contribute to a collaborative, positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dance, fitness, cheerleading, barre, or group fitness is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong relationship-building abilities
• Ability to maintain high energy and enthusiasm throughout a 50-minute class
• Ability to demonstrate exercises, including full body pushups and lifting hand weights
• Strong sense of musicality and ability to keep rhythm and count to the beat of music
• Active lifestyle and passion for health and wellness
• Ability to learn and retain choreography changes on a quarterly basis
• Authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Lead up to 25 participants through the Pure Barre experience
• Deliver safe, engaging, and motivating classes that provide an exceptional client experience
• Build meaningful relationships with members and foster a strong sense of community
• Prepare diligently before each class, including studying choreography and planning class flow
• Learn and execute quarterly choreography updates
• Create a welcoming, energetic, and inclusive studio environment
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and polished studio
• Attend required trainings and team meetings
• Support studio events, promotions, and community initiatives as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
