Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring for full- and part-time Barista positions at SCAD in Savannah, GA. You will make coffee and espresso drinks, serve food and beverages, and engage customers with a friendly, efficient service style. Weekend and evening availability is required.

Prior barista and food safety experience is preferred, with on-the-job training available. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, with shift premiums for weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items.
• Interacts with customers and other employees in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
