Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs is seeking a Barista Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the Starbucks venue within the Food & Beverage department. You will inspire a team of Baristas to deliver exceptional beverages and guest experiences, setting the tone for communication, teamwork, and service excellence.

You will coach and develop associates, oversee shift execution, ensure beverage quality and sanitation, and collaborate across departments to support venue and casino success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in hospitality, food service, or related service environment; Starbucks environment preferred.
• 1+ year of supervisory or shift-lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of beverage preparation, food safety, sanitation, and cash-handling best practices.
• ServSafe Certification preferred (or obtained within 1 year).
• Ability to secure and maintain a GRA license and comply with DGRs requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate shift goals, priorities, and expectations to the team.
• Oversee daily venue operations to ensure efficient flow and high-quality service.
• Maintain beverage quality, speed of service, and Grand Casino hospitality standards.
• Collaborate with other Food & Beverage teams to support venue and casino success.
• Uphold cash handling, safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead pre-shift huddles and provide coaching and feedback to associates.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance discussions.
