Biggby Coffee in Indiana is seeking an enthusiastic Barista to welcome customers, prepare espresso drinks, and ensure a welcoming shop experience at our Laporte and Westville locations.

You will take orders, explain menu items, and enter orders into the POS system with care while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and providing friendly, efficient service to every patron.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the coffee shop with a smile.
• Take food and beverage orders.
• Explain the menu items to customers.
• Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex.
• Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency.
• Bus tables and wipe down surfaces.
