Job summary

Farmers Restaurant Group in Reston, VA is seeking a Barista and Pastry Server to greet guests, craft specialty coffee and tea drinks, plate desserts, take orders, and deliver warm, personal hospitality in a fast-paced restaurant team.

You will work with a lively dining environment, follow health and safety guidelines, and contribute to a positive team. Prior experience in a full-service setting is preferred; benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, and dining discounts.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a full-service restaurant or coffee shop preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee and tea beverages.
• Warm and plate dessert items.
• Take guest orders for food and beverages.
• Provide exceptional hospitality and engage with guests.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized workstation and follow safety guidelines.
• Explain menu items and ingredients to guests.
• Assist with payments and contribute to a positive team environment.
