Job summary

The Oak View Group in Baltimore is hiring a Barista to operate the cash register, process payments, and prepare a variety of concession items and beverages for guests. You will maintain a clean, organized workspace and deliver attentive service that aligns with our standards.

This part-time position pays an hourly rate of $17.00-$18.00 and is tip eligible. Benefits for part-time roles include a 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. The role remains open until November 13, 2026.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn to handle cash and operate a cash register and system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the cash register sales by entering the orders and completing the transaction.
• Memorize and use the recipe book.
• Operate a blender, coffee machine, and espresso machine.
• Maintain stock and communicate low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
• Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly.
• Check guest IDs to verify age for alcoholic beverage purchases.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Position Summary

The event day Barista is responsible for accurately operating the cash register, processing payments, and preparing a variety of concession items and beverages for guests. This role ensures all products are presented with consistent quality and delivered with attentive service. The Barista is expected to maintain a clean, organized work environment and uphold excellent attendance in accordance with company policy.

This role pays an hourly rate of $17.00-$18.00 and is tip eligible.
