The Adolphus, a premier Dallas hotel, is seeking a Part Time Barista to deliver exceptional coffee and beverage experiences. You will educate guests on offerings, craft beverages with care, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere in our iconic downtown venue.

Ideal candidates bring passion for coffee, strong customer service, and familiarity with brewing equipment. Training will align with Makeready standards and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Prior barista experience is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service and beverage knowledge.
• Willingness to learn about Makeready standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and deliver hospitality.
• Stay knowledgeable about products to educate guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization while multitasking.
• Use appropriate verbiage and demeanor with guests and teammates.

We seek caffeine lovers and connoisseurs. This individual is knowledgeable and passionate about coffee and takes pride in crafting the perfect beverage for all they serve. Your primary role will be delivering impeccable product and educating our customers on our offerings while making recommendations based on their preferences. To be successful in this role, you should have strong customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates.

Requested Tasks

• Authentically acknowledge and welcome guests with emphatic and warm hospitality
• Remain curious and knowledgeable about all product and service standards in order to elevate each guest experience
• Remains efficient, clean and organized; always working to code while multitasking
• Remaining mindful of appropriate verbiage and demeanor with team members and guests at all times
• Prior experience as a barista highly preferred
• An extensive knowledge of coffee, tea and other drink recipes
• A proactive and thoughtful nature
• Professional demeanor and thoughtful nature
