Job summary

Aramark is hiring full-time Baristas to join our fast-paced team. You’ll prepare specialty drinks, assist with food prep, and take orders and payments while delivering memorable customer experiences.

This role operates a register, handles cash, follows brand standards, and keeps the coffee bar clean and stocked. Prior customer service and cash handling experience are preferred, with English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous barista experience preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Able to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must follow required dress code as assigned.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate register/POS and handle cash/credit transactions.
• Greet and assist customers, anticipate needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items per location standards.
• Count, balance cash drawer and complete cashier slip deposits.
• Follow Aramark cash handling policies.
• Set up/break down coffee bar and maintain cleanliness.
• Keep work area clean and sanitary.
• Stock beverage coolers and service ware; restock condiments.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $23.00 to $25.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, specialty beverages per brand standards
• Prepares and serve food items in line with location standards
• Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip and make deposits
• Adheres to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures
• Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store including cleaning and sanitizing
• Maintain clean and sanitary work area
• Stock beverage coolers, grab and go items, service ware and condiments
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Other duties as assigned by management
