Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Barista Lead for East Tennessee State University campus. You will craft hand-made drinks, manage a fast-paced service line, and ensure clean, organized work areas while handling transactions.

You’ll contribute to a positive customer experience, train team members, and support store operations across varying shifts. A customer-service background is valued; some locations may require Starbucks certification.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and able to foster a healthy/safe working environment.
• Experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation and inventory control preferred.
• Starbucks Barista certification may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks, etc.
• Record all sales, collect cash/credit card/electronic payments and operate a cash register
• Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms and preparation areas
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Location: EAST TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY - 10481018

Workdays/shifts : Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $15 per hour - $16 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Barista Lead at Sodexo, you are an artist and fair-trade champion. You will create hand-crafted, quality beverages and food. Most importantly, you help people smile and make an impact with your everyday actions. You also will operate cash registers and ensure all work areas are kept clean and glistening.

What You Bring:
