Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is hiring Baristas to join a team that values people, coffee quality, and community.

You’ll craft beverages to our standards, engage with customers to create memorable service experiences, and support daily store operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum availability: at least two days per week (may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, holidays).
• Legally eligible to work in the country where job is located.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to comply with Peet’s Employment of Minors policies.
• Ability to perform physical tasks during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by following Peet’s service steps with friendly engagement.
• Prepare handcrafted beverages and products to Peet’s standards in taste and presentation.
• Collaborate with coworkers and seek feedback to support daily operations.
• Drive sales through suggestive selling and product knowledge.
• Demonstrate reliability with attendance, punctuality, and task completion.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked coffeebar with urgency in a fast-paced setting.

• The pay scale for this position is $20.25 - $20.75 per hour. The specific hourly wage offered will depend on factors including, but not limited to, local wage requirements, geographic location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may earn an estimated average of $3.00 to $6.00 per hour in cash and electronic tips.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
