Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Barista II at CHRISTIANA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM. You will craft hand-made beverages and foods, greet customers, take orders, and operate the cash register while keeping all areas clean.

This full-time position offers varying shifts with open availability and a pay range of $18.00 per hour. You will contribute to a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment and have opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Starbucks Barista certification may be required at some locations.
• Experience in food preparation and sanitation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks, etc.
• Record all sales, collect cash/credit card/electronic payments and operate a cash register
• Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms and preparation areas
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour - $18.00 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Barista II at Sodexo, you are an artist and fair-trade champion. You will create hand-crafted, quality beverages and food. Most importantly, you help people smile and make an impact with your everyday actions. You also will operate cash registers and ensure all work areas are kept clean and glistening.

What You Bring:
