Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Barista II at CHRISTIANA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM. You will craft high-quality beverages, assist customers, and support food service efforts. You will operate cash registers and help keep all work areas clean and well-stocked, contributing to a welcoming and efficient cafe environment.

Ideal candidates are team-oriented and reliable, with prior customer service or food-service experience. Starbucks Barista certification may be required at certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, and prepare beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, tea, chai, and fruit drinks.
• Record sales and process payments using cash/credit/electronic methods.
• Maintain cleanliness of coffee machines, dining areas, restrooms, and prep spaces.
• Attend shifts on time with regularity; perform other duties as needed.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $18.00 - $18.00

What You'll Do:

As a Barista II at Sodexo, you are an artist and fair-trade champion. You will create hand-crafted, quality beverages and food. Most importantly, you help people smile and make an impact with your everyday actions.You also will operate cash registers andensure all work areas are kept clean and glistening.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks, etc.
• Record all sales, collect cash/credit card/electronic payments and operate a cash register
• Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms and preparation areas
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• Previous related experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation and inventory control is preferred.
• Starbucks Barista certification my be required at some locations.
