Job summary

StaffedUp is seeking a friendly Barista to join our team at our St. Louis location. You’ll craft beverages, greet guests, and keep the cafe clean and stocked while delivering great service.

We value coffee enthusiasm, reliability, and teamwork. Prior barista experience is a plus, but we provide training for the right candidate who can multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards for quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Passion for coffee and customer service.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail when making drinks and following recipes.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Previous barista or restaurant experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Prepare & Serve Beverages: Craft high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages.
• Customer Interaction: Greet guests warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep workstations, equipment, and dining areas clean and stocked.
• Stock & Inventory: Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Follow Health & Safety Standards: Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with coworkers to ensure smooth operations and great service.
