Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months coffee-related experience in the service industry.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must maintain unexpired TABC and Food Handler Certifications.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Ability to use Excel and Word; basic computer skills.
• Ability to understand basic math and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals and training materials.
• Maintain personal hygiene and adhere to dress code policies.
• Respect fellow employees, customers and the work environment.
• Check patrons' identification to verify legal drinking age.
• Explain how menu items are prepared and describe ingredients.
• Take orders and prepare items to specification; operate POS accurately.
• Restock items using FIFO; check invoices for accuracy on deliveries.
• Clean during and at end of shift; maintain side-work.
• Communicate with all departments and management; manage time-off requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; ensure equipment is functioning.
• Stay aware of safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service; adapt to fluctuating demands.
