Job summary

Virgin-Hotel in Dallas is seeking a part-time Barista to craft coffee and food items, greet guests, and drive a memorable guest experience. You will prep and stock the coffee bar, maintain cleanliness, and assist customers with menu knowledge.

The role requires strong communication, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work 6–8 hour shifts on site. Prior barista or food service experience is preferred, with high school education required.

Qualifications

• Must love people and have a passion for serving others and the community.
• Prep the coffee bar daily, maintain it during the shift and clean it nightly in preparation for the next shift.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic and organized work environment including stocking of supplies, washing and polishing glassware, folding napkins, cleaning menus, sanitizing tables, etc.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take orders for coffee and food in a friendly and professional manner.
• Set up and maintain an attractive, organized coffee bar presentation.
• Make and serve coffee drinks; educate customers on beans and brewing methods.
• Enter items into the POS system and charge guests accurately; handle cash per policy.
• Adhere to sanitation standards and notify management of any issues.
