Job summary

Fooda is hiring a Barista at our client location in Tampa, FL. You will be responsible for crafting coffee and espresso drinks, handling cash, and ensuring a welcoming customer experience.

Your role includes operating the POS system, stocking the station, maintaining cleanliness, and building relationships with customers while upholding Fooda standards. This position runs Monday to Friday from 11:00am to 8:00pm EST.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is essential.
• Ability to handle cash accurately.
• Friendly, high-energy with strong communication.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable using technology and operating a POS system.
• Prior barista and cashier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee and espresso drinks and other beverages using standard recipes.
• Stock and maintain the coffee station and keep the area clean.
• Operate and manage the POS system with accuracy.
• Build relationships with customers and provide a positive environment.
• Deliver high level of customer service and go the extra mile.
• Escalate issues to the manager when needed to resolve problems.
• Follow FoodaStandards of Service and Sanitation daily.
• Schedule Monday-Friday 11:00am-8:00pm EST.

Position Overview:

Due to expanding growth, Fooda is hiring aBarista at our client location.

Who You Are:

• You are comfortable with customers and enjoy customer service
• You are comfortable with handling cash and providing accurate change
• You are friendly, high energy and comfortable interacting with other people
• You are able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand on your feet for up to two hours
• You are comfortable with technology and running a POS system
• Prior barista and cashier experience preferred

What You Will Be Responsible For:

• Prepare coffee and espresso drinks and other beverage items using standard measures and recipes
• Stock and maintain coffee station supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
• Run and maintain a POS system with attention to detail and accuracy
• Build relationships with customers by maintaining a positive environment
• Go out of your way to provide a high level of customer service
• Strong communication skills and being a self-starter are required
• Know and maintain the FoodaStandards of Service and Sanitation on a daily basis
• Escalate issues to Managerwhen necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Schedule Monday-Friday 11:00am-8:00pm EST
