About the Role

The Barista is a vital member of the cafe team, responsible for delivering exceptional coffee experiences. This hourly position involves developing and refining barista skills, including espresso preparation, latte art, and proper brewing techniques, while constantly expanding coffee knowledge. Baristas uphold Ascension Coffee's standards by ensuring consistency and quality in every cup.

What You’ll Do

• Skillfully prepare specialty coffee, tea, and liquor beverages to Ascension standards.
• Deliver exceptional hospitality and guest service.
• Maintain and troubleshoot coffee equipment, resolving basic issues.
• Continuously expand knowledge in specialty coffee, tea, alcohol, and hospitality.
• Receive and apply feedback effectively, demonstrating adaptability.
• Build strong interpersonal connections with team members at all levels.
• Communicate clearly and effectively to inspire and align teams.
• Foster an inclusive, high-quality cafe culture through thoughtful interactions.
