Job Opening: Full-Time Barista

We are hiring immediately for full-time Barista positions at the Census Bureau, located at 4600 Silver Hill Road, Suitland, MD 20746. Online applications are accepted only.

Job Summary

Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items, following HACCP standards. Interacts with customers courteously and provides excellent service.

Essential Duties

1. Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
2. Accurately enter orders into POS, accept payments.
3. Maintain cleanliness and replenish supplies.
4. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and temperature.
5. Maintain sanitation of equipment and work area.
6. Serve customers promptly and courteously, explain menu items.
7. Assist in merchandising and ensure attractive display of foods.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
