Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City is seeking a friendly Barista to join our Market Coffee Shop team. You will prepare coffee beverages, smoothies and light fare, and ensure a welcoming, clean space for guests.

Ideal candidates enjoy fast-paced service, have strong English communication skills, and can work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Experience in hospitality and guest service is valued.

The Market: Looking for something quick? Swing by our Grab-and-Go Market on the lobby level, stocked with local artisanal goods, a full coffee bar, and specialty food items. This outlet accepts AM, PM and overnight availability.

Baristas will provide service in the Market Coffee Shop located in the lobby of the hotel. This position will be responsible for fulfilling guest orders including preparing a wide range of coffee beverages, smoothies, sandwiches and flatbreads. The barista will provide a welcoming and clean environment for guests while keeping their work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about25 pounds)
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Licenses & Certifications:

Must possess or be able to obtain DABS certification

Must maintain a current Food Handler permit in accordance with local regulations
