• We are hiring immediately for a full-time BARISTA position.
• Location: Lowe's - 1000 Lowe's Boulevard, Mooresville, NC 28117. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior barista experience is required.
• Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available
• Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines. Interacts with customers and staff in a friendly, courteous manner.

Essential Duties

• Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
• Enter orders accurately into POS; accept payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies; maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment and work area.
• Ensure proper food prep using approved recipes.
• Keep display equipment clean.
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly.
• Greet customers courteously and ensure satisfaction.
• Serve quickly and efficiently, preventing delays.
• Understand and explain menu items.
• Assist in selling techniques and customer communication.
• Merchandise display foods attractively and serve neatly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
