Your responsibilities include customer interactions, preparation of espresso orders, and maintaining cleanliness. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour along with various employee benefits.

Job Summary

Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and standards for quality food‑service operations. Interacts with customers and other employees in a friendly, courteous manner.

Location

Schedule

Full‑time schedule: Tuesday to Friday, 5:00 am – 3:15 pm. (Details provided during interview.)

Pay

$19.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a barista or similar role.
• Internal employee referral bonus available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enter orders accurately into POS, accepting cash and charge payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of the service area.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
• Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
• Greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner that ensures customer satisfaction. Relays relevant concerns to supervisors.
• Serves customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers.
• Acts as an advocate for selling techniques, establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision‑making process.
• Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards and serves food neatly and attractively.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
