Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Barista at our Starbucks location in Appleton, WI. The role focuses on providing prompt service, preparing quality beverages, and keeping a clean, welcoming environment for guests.

Experience is not required; you will join a team that values initiative, reliability, and strong customer service to ensure a positive guest experience across shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard.
• Anticipates customer and store needs by evaluating environment and customers for cues.
• Communicates information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary.
• Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by a customer comes first attitude and connection.
• Discovers and responds to customer needs.
• Follows operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace for easy resource and product access.
• Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products by adhering to recipe and presentation standards.
• Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
