Job summary

Scooter's Coffee in Iowa is seeking a friendly Barista to deliver fast, accurate service and craft quality beverages. You’ll engage with customers, learn our processes, and uphold food safety standards while contributing to a welcoming store atmosphere.

Responsibilities include taking orders, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness, restocking, and helping teammates meet speed-of-service goals. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn all about the coffee business.

Responsibilities

• Connect with each customer and promote sales.
• Welcome questions and educate customers about Scooter's products.
• Take orders and process payments in a timely and friendly fashion.
• Manage cash drawer and follow cash handling procedures.
• Serve all customer orders according to recipe and guidelines.
• Deliver products within speed of service guidelines and identify drinks on delivery.
• Operate and maintain cleanliness of all store equipment.
• Restock workstations, food, supplies, and merchandise to improve workflow.
• Create and follow daily checklists.
