Qualifications

• Typically requires 1 year of experience in a hospital or hotel/restaurant food service environment.
• Ability to contribute to a positive work environment.

• Ability to read and understand written and oral communications.
• On-the-job training and/or barista training sessions to attain certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with quick, friendly, personal service and address needs.
• Prepare baked goods and beverages; process transactions using POS and follow cash handling policies.
• Maintain sanitation and food preparation standards; follow Starbucks recipes at Starbucks locations.
• Stay calm during busy periods and support the shift team with coaching and problem-solving.
• Monitor temperatures, store properly, and ensure safe food handling and hygiene.
