Job summary

Compass Group USA at Memphis Zoo is seeking a friendly Barista to make and serve coffee and espresso drinks, and handle related food items according to HACCP standards. You will interact with guests, enter orders in the POS, maintain clean service areas, and help ensure fast, accurate service while promoting menu items.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience preferred.
• Ability to handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of HACCP guidelines and food safety standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS device using cashless payment methods.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction.
