Job summary

Balls Foods is seeking energetic Starbucks Baristas to join the Price Chopper location in Missouri. You will craft handcrafted beverages and deliver a welcoming café-style experience while engaging with guests and supporting daily store operations.

This role emphasizes fast-paced service, accurate POS operation, clean work area, and teamwork. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; prior coffee or retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: experience in coffee, food service, grocery, or retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare handcrafted coffee, espresso beverages, and food items to standard recipes.
• Provide friendly, helpful guest service to create a welcoming coffeehouse experience.
• Engage with guests, answer questions, and make product recommendations to drive sales.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe coffeehouse and work area.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards.
• Operate POS systems, scanners, and related equipment accurately.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products using FIFO methods.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low or out-of-stock items.
• Stay informed on promotions, seasonal beverages, and store initiatives.
• Communicate clearly with teammates and leadership to support daily operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to support store performance and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with cleaning, restocking, and prep during slower periods.
• Support loss prevention efforts and follow company policies.
• Participate in required trainings and continuous learning opportunities.
• Remain productive and support store readiness at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
