Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Kentucky is hiring a Barista to prepare quality beverages and deliver a friendly customer experience using established recipes. You will greet customers, take orders, and ensure accuracy and presentation from the first cup to the last.

You will keep a clean, organized work area, restock supplies, operate espresso machines and grinders safely, and collaborate with teammates to handle busy periods with energy and pace.

Qualifications

• Customer service excellence and ability to follow recipes
• Experience with preparing coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and related products
• Attention to detail to maintain quality and consistency
• Strong organization, multitasking and time-management skills
• Knowledge of safe food and beverage handling and sanitation practices
• Willingness to work with a team to meet daily goals
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with changing service demands
• Ability to safely operate espresso machines, grinders and related equipment
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
