Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Barista to deliver exceptional customer service while crafting hand-made beverages. The role includes beverage preparation, sales, and maintaining a clean coffee bar in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires moving around the coffee station, cash handling, and adherence to sanitation standards. Shifts include mornings with rotating weekends on a full-time schedule at Christiana Health Care System locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of food prep, sanitation, and inventory control is needed.
• Starbucks barista certification may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with quick, friendly, and personalized service.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages to order.
• Maintain clean and organized coffee bar and prep areas.
• Educate guests on menu options and upsell where appropriate.
• Stock coffee bar supplies and ensure attractive displays.
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions.
• Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
