Blank Street is seeking friendly baristas to join our New York cafes, delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting. You will work with a top-tier coffee program, learn proper food and beverage handling, and strive to minimize waste while maintaining health standards.

We value independent workers and strong team players who can lift 25+ lbs, stand for long periods, and be available for part-time or full-time shifts, including peak days Friday–Sunday.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service role, preferably hospitality or coffee.
• 18+ years of age required.
• Able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Cafe availability and scheduling needs must be met.

Responsibilities

• Delight customers with welcoming, engaging service to turn every visit into a regulars’ experience.
• Work with a world-class coffee program to prepare drinks with care.
• Complete training to ensure correct food and beverage handling and freshness.
• Minimize waste by following par levels during peak and off-peak periods.
• Maintain local health standards at all times.
• Adhere to all product, service, and brand training playbooks.
• Collaborate with Operations/Marketing to drive foot traffic and sales.
