Job summary

Atrium Hospitality is seeking a part-time Café Attendant for San Marcos Embassy Suites in San Marcos, TX. You will prepare coffee drinks, serve food, and help guests with menu knowledge to enhance their stay. Maintain a clean café, process transactions, and follow safety standards.

Flexible mornings/evenings/weekends are required. Previous customer service is preferred; Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to complete within 90 days) are expected.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience required; food service experience preferred.
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to complete within 90 days).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout shift.
• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, upbeat personality with a passion for making people feel welcome.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious coffee drinks and serve food items with attention to presentation and guest preferences.
• Keep the café clean, organized, and well-stocked, from pastries to retail displays.
• Share knowledge of the menu and hotel amenities to enhance the guest experience.
• Handle transactions accurately and maintain the cash drawer in line with company policy.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards, ensuring all equipment and food areas stay clean and compliant.
