Job summary

Lowes Foods in Wendell, NC is seeking dedicated staff to deliver friendly guest service, stock and rotate bakery products, and maintain clean, safe work areas. You will assist with product presentation, demonstrations and overall store standards.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, willingness to learn multiple tasks, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work 18+ years old. This on-site role offers flexible hours and a fun work environment.

• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to effectively communicate with the Store Manager and Merchandiser.
• Ability to work well with computers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive friendly, engaging service by providing guest demonstrations and samples using brewing and roasting equipment.
• Follow merchandising and operational guidelines and programs including proper inventory level of product and supplies.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, stocking, rotating and guest service to achieve standards.
• Perform cleaning tasks and sanitation and maintain safety throughout the department in accordance with the Lowes' Foods standards.
• Perform PA announcements on schedule.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
