Job Summary

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, such as coffee and tea, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the café. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, exceptional customer service skills, and attention to detail.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Turn on equipment and warm up the coffee machine.
• Brew coffee according to established recipes and standards.
• Check the dates on any food and syrup to ensure they have not expired.
• Prepare fresh sanitizer solution for cleaning.
• Disassemble and wash the coffee machine and other equipment.
• Wipe counters and cabinets to maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure any food or drink is refrigerated at the appropriate temperature.
• Clean sinks thoroughly after use.
• Record any wasted products in a log for inventory purposes.
• Turn off any equipment and lights before closing.
• Sweep and mop the floors to maintain cleanliness.

Qualifications
