Job summary

HMSHost is hiring Baristas to deliver world class service to guests from around the world. You will create a great experience by preparing quality beverages and food, ensuring quick service and a fun, memorable visit.

Shifts start at 3:30AM. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare requests with accuracy, operate the register, keep the store clean and stocked, and work as part of a friendly team committed to HMSHost standards.

Qualifications

• Strong social skills and love to meet new people.
• Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn new things and quickly pick up new skills.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic math skills to count money and make change.
• Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests with a smile while taking food and drink orders, answering questions, calling guests by name and thanking them for their order.
• Provide and prepare quality beverages and food products to all guests by adhering to recipe and presentation standards while providing legendary service.
• Stay calm during periods of high volume to keep the store operating properly and set a positive example for the team.
• Operate a cash register and receive payment from guests, following brand and HMSHost cash handling policies.
• Keep the store clean, stocked, organized and decorate customer display areas.
• Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge to enhance the culture, values and mission of the brand and HMSHost while following policies and safety procedures.
