Job summary

Dialog Café, a family-owned café in West Hollywood, seeks an experienced barista for a part-time role with the potential to grow into full-time. You will craft hot and cold beverages, master latte art, calibrate grinders, and maintain a clean workstation while following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a barista in a third-wave specialty coffee environment.
• Strong understanding of espresso extraction, grinder calibration, and dialing in espresso.
• Demonstrated latte art skills and the ability to produce consistent results.
• Experience operating La Marzocco espresso machines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to beverage quality and consistency.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid California Food Handler's Certificate.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining consistent attendance.
• Receptive to feedback, willing to follow direction, and comfortable asking questions when needed.
