Job summary

Dartcor Hospitality seeks a friendly Barista to be the face of our busy office café. You will expertly prepare a variety of coffee beverages, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure smooth daily operations.

Join a fast-paced team where latte art is a plus and opportunities exist to assist with pastries, retail requests, and ongoing coffee program excellence at the Stamford location.

Qualifications

• Prior barista or customer-facing experience in a café environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong proficiency in making coffee beverages with quality and presentation.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward customers and team members.
• Team player with flexibility to assist with various tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coffee & beverage preparation of espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, Americanos, cold brews, and other beverages.
• Provide exceptional customer service, take orders, and make recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized café environment and stock supplies.
• Expedite orders during peak hours and communicate with customers.
• Collaborate with café staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Position Overview:

As a Barista, you will be the face of our busy office café, expertly preparing a variety of coffee beverages while ensuring a positive and memorable experience for our guests. You’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality drinks, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities:

• Coffee & Beverage Preparation:Prepare a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, Americanos, cold brews, smoothies, and other specialty beverages. Experience with latte art is a plus.
• Customer Service:Engage with customers in a friendly, positive manner, ensuring they have an exceptional experience every time they visit. Take orders, answer questions, and make recommendations based on customer preferences. Pastry and retail sales in addition to beverage.
• Café Operations:Help maintain a clean and organized café environment. Assist with keeping workstations, equipment, and the dining area clean and well-stocked.
• Expediting Orders:Work efficiently during peak hours to ensure quick service and satisfaction. Assist with order fulfillment and communication with customers.
• Team Collaboration:Work alongside other baristas and café staff to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold Dartcor's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior barista experience or customer-facing experience in a café environment is preferred but not required.

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

• Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM Schedule
