Job summary

Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking a Barista to support the Starbucks Experience for customers on a flexible, on-call basis. You will prepare beverages, maintain a clean and safe store environment, and assist with deliveries and stocking in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 0-6 months retail and/or food service experience.
• National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly service and create the Starbucks Experience for customers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment and perform daily upkeep of store, equipment and back room.
• Assist with deliveries and stock, including unloading products and checking in shipments.

A Barista supports and contributes to creating and maintaining the Starbucks Experience for customers. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks and Providence Starbucks Group (PSG) guiding principles. Ensures that customers receive prompt service, quality beverages, and products. Helps maintain a safe, secure, clean, and comfortable store environment. Performs daily maintenance, cleaning and environmental upkeep of store, equipment, and back room; checks in and unloads Starbucks product deliveries.
