The Role

We’re looking for a Barista who’s passionate about people as much as they are about coffee. Someone who can dial in espresso with care, chat with regulars like old friends, and help new guests feel instantly at home.

As a Kape Kurator | Barista, you’ll:

• Craft consistently excellent espresso drinks, drip coffee, and specialty beverages (latte art skills = bonus points!).
• Greet every guest with warmth, curiosity, and genuine care.
• Remember names, faces, and favorite orders—building connections one cup at a time.
• Bring energy, adaptability, and positivity to every shift.
• Create memorable experiences for every guest.
• Educate customers about our coffee, origins, and brewing methods.
• Keep the café clean, organized, and running smoothly.
• Support teammates with prep work, restocking, maintaining equipment and wherever needed.
• Represent our values of quality, sustainability, and community.

Who You Are

• Previous barista/coffee experience is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person.
• Passion for coffee, hospitality, and learning.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying cool under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Must be available to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
