Job summary

The Hangar, a walk-up coffee stand at the Kingston Ferry Terminal, is hiring friendly, reliable baristas for year-round service. You will craft espresso drinks to order, take orders at the window, and keep the stand clean and stocked while delivering fast, warm hospitality to travelers.

We offer paid training and barista certification, free or discounted drinks, and flexible scheduling through 7shifts. Weekend and early-morning shifts are a plus as we ramp up staffing to meet seasonal demand.

About the role. The Hangar is a walk-up coffee stand at the Kingston Ferry Terminal. We hand ferry travelers a genuinely great drink, fast and warm, right before they board. We are hiring friendly, reliable, year-round baristas to grow with us. A note on hours: shifts start light and ramp up over the summer, building toward part-time/full-time hours in late August and early September. If you\'re looking for a steady, year-round spot, this is it.

Responsibilities

What you\'ll do: Make espresso drinks and our full menu to standard, fast and friendly at the window. Take orders and run the Square register accurately. Keep the stand clean, stocked, and running (counts, restock, open and close). Deliver quick, warm hospitality to travelers on a clock.

Qualifications

What we\'re looking for: A positive, reliable, team-first attitude; we\'ll train the coffee. Comfortable staying fast and friendly during a rush. Basic cash handling and attention to detail. Weekend and early-morning availability a plus.
