Role Description The Barista role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. Baristas prepare and serve a variety of handcrafted beverages and food items while following Starbucks recipes and quality standards. In this role, the Barista greets customers, takes orders, operates the POS system, handles payments, and maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment. Baristas work as part of a team to restock supplies, support store operations, and uphold Starbucks standards for customer service, safety, and brand presentation. The position requires consistent adherence to health, safety, and food handling guidelines as well as reliable, punctual attendance.
