HMSHost seeks a Barista at the Anchorage Airport location to provide friendly, attentive service, take orders, and ensure smooth operations in a coffee establishment.

You will prepare beverages and foods to brand standards, handle payments, keep the area clean, stocked, and visually appealing, and follow health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must have one year of customer service experience.
• Preferred: at least one year of experience working in a high-volume coffee shop.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; demonstrates the ability to interact with customers and co-workers enthusiastically.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.
• Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of certified coffee establishment products and procedures.

Airport Location: Anchorage Airport F&B

Advertised Compensation: $16.00 to $16.00

Purpose: The Barista is responsible for providing great customer service, fulfilling food and beverage orders, and completing sales transactions within a certified coffee establishment. This role also ensures the establishment operates efficiently by assisting with cleaning, food preparation, seating customers, stocking, and maintaining inventory. This is a non‑exempt position and typically reports to the General Manager.
