Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a temporary full-time Bariatric Surgery Physician Assistant to join our Bellevue Medical Center team in Bellevue, Washington, for a 3-month salaried locum contract.

The bariatric program includes two other experienced bariatric surgeons, a psychologist, a licensed independent social worker, dieticians, physician assistants, a program manager, a practice manager, bariatric nurses, and medical assistants.

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant required.
• Ability to obtain: Unrestricted Federal DEA.
• Ability to obtain: WA State Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and managing bariatric surgery patients in the outpatient clinic at all points in the care continuum.
• First assisting primarily in laparoscopic and robotic cases in our ambulatory surgery center and partner hospital, Overlake.
• Ability to practice in a hybrid model for virtual at home clinic days.
• Shared call responsibilities.
