Job summary

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a Bariatric Surgeon to join a national wound care network. You will provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, with a focus on patient-centered care and real-time documentation using our EMR.

The role offers a 30-hour weekly schedule, no nights or weekend duties, and paid training including a wound care fellowship. This mobile practice covers facilities within a 40–60 mile radius, with 2–3 visits per day and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Full-time work: Monday - Friday (7 am - 4 pm) or part-time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week; full-time is 4-5 days per week.
• Mobile practice: visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during rounds, using our proprietary wound-specific EMR.
• Paid Training during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship.

• Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
• We provide physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, giving you all the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence.
• W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week (Part-time opportunities available).

Practice Overview:
