Job summary

Vohra Wound Physicians in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Bariatric Surgeon to join our national wound physician group. This full-time/mobile role offers weekday schedules (Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4 pm) with possible part-time options, and features hands-on bedside wound care across post-acute facilities.

Physicians conduct 20-30 patient visits per day within a 40-60 mile radius, perform real-time documentation during rounds in our proprietary EMR, and participate in ongoing wound training

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside wound care in post-acute care settings: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day and treat approximately 20-30 patients per day
• Document clinically at the point of care in real-time during rounds using our proprietary wound-specific EMR
